'Panjalu' taken from ancient Java empire 'Kediri' or 'Daha' or
'Panjalu'.
Founded in the year ± 1044.
According
to book ' The Prabu Sri Adji Djojoboyo' by Yudoyono Tahitan
from
Institution of Hondodunto-Yogyakarta year 1984, that Dr. J. L.A
Brandes had documented the inscription ngantang and publicizing by
Dr. N.J.
Chrome, it is described and mentioned its name PANJALU
numerical
of 1057 C, at present is in museum of Book Jakarta with the
number
of code D9.
Victory of
Empire Kediri to Jenggala at period of governance of King
Jayabaya
was described in inscription ngantang (Hantang / 1057c) which
date 7
September 1135 M, this inscription related with the godsend of land
ground of
perdikan ngantang (near Malang Regency) to resident of
countryside
ngantang which always show the love devote and its
faithfulness
to Sri of Emperor Jayabaya in so many danger during apart of
empire
Kediri and Jenggala.
This
inscription ngantang there are article or a kind of password sounding
"Panjalu
Jayati" meaning "Panjalu Win". Now this Empire Situation is in
Kediri Regency
East Java.
